Pam Leach and Debbie Lamey are back in the kitchen fixin' their famous gumbo for the 3rd annual Amateur Gumbo Cook Off Contest at the Biloxi Seafood Festival on September 12.
Pam and Debbie won 1st place overall in 2008 and last year won the coveted People's Choice Award. Competition is stiff from local casinos, individuals, and business owners. Look for Pam and Debbie's booth "L&L Gumbo" and tell 'em Wanda sent ya!
Admission to the event is $10 and you get to taste and eat all the seafood gumbo you want from noon - 2pm on the day of the vent. Event goers will vote to determine who has the BEST gumbo on the coast.
It's a family event and offers entertainment, vendors, and lots and lots of food! Come hungry and expect a fun day for all.
